I am a horse trainer and an avid gym goer. Horses are my first passion and lifting weights a close second. I specialize in bringing young horses along, and to do that you need body awareness, which I always thought I had plenty of, especially with my weight training. I often supplemented with yoga thinking it would help my riding. It wasn’t until I worked with Karin, learning about Pilates, that I realized just how much help I needed in the area of body work! Pilates and working with Karin brought this to a new level! I began to understand how much this type of training can help riders in all disciplines and levels. Any position problem or rider imbalance can be solved with proper training on the reformer and mat. I recommend Pilates to all my riders.
